Weird weather

So the past few days has been very weird weatherwise. The thermometer has gone up and down again, rains and winds have come and gone. And today, I woke up, and saw this. The sky was yellow with sand!

Here’s the view from the top of my supervisor’s house. And I’ve done nothing with the colours-this is exactly how it looked.

  1. If I was a Dispy, I’d say it was indicative of the apocalypse! ;) That’s impressive!

    • Sure is. Talking of apocalypse, I thought that I heard eschatons (in all seriousness) when I first arrived in September. But it was just the local orthodox church playing it’s bells really early one Saturday morning. I was quite disappointed, and then went back to sleep.

  2. lol! i often have moments of thinking Jesus is coming back. In fact, a morning like that was kind of a key event in my becoming a Christian. still.. what’s an eschaton? i liike your picture, its a bit eery but super cooool. i’m getting a little bit weirded out even now tho by all of the earthquakes, especially when i keep coming across passages like luke 21:11 and mark 13:8! :O

    • An eschaton is something that will happen in the end times. Comes from the Greek! η εσχατιά (eschatia) means the end.

“Give me a word… any word… and I will show you that the root of that word is from the Greek.”
